Do I need to move out during a full refurbishment?
For a whole-house job, usually yes — there are periods with no water, no heating and no working kitchen. It also speeds the programme up considerably. For phased work room by room, staying is often workable.
How long does a whole-house refurbishment take?
A three-bedroom house is typically 12 to 20 weeks depending on structural work and how quickly decisions on finishes come back. Delays are far more often about choosing tiles than about the building work.
Can you work from an architect's drawings?
Yes, and we would rather you had them for anything structural. If you do not have drawings we can bring in an architect and a structural engineer as part of the package.
What happens to the waste?
Skips and licensed waste carriers are included in the quote, with waste transfer notes for anything that needs them. The site is cleared at the end of each day rather than at the end of the job.
