Complete bathrooms, en-suites and wet rooms — tanked and waterproofed correctly, so you are not revisiting it in three years.
The failure in most bathrooms is not visible: tanking skipped behind the tiles, a shower tray bedded badly, or waste pipework without enough fall. We tank wet areas properly, pressure-test before tiling, and set falls correctly, because the cost of getting this wrong is ripping out a finished room.

What it costs

How long does a bathroom take?
Usually two to three weeks for a full refit. Tanking and tile adhesive both need curing time and rushing those is exactly how a bathroom fails early.
Can you move the toilet?
Often, but it depends on reaching the soil stack with adequate fall. Where that is not possible a macerator is an option, though we would rather re-route the waste where the building allows it.
What is tanking and do I need it?
A waterproof membrane applied behind the tiles in wet areas. Tiles and grout are not waterproof on their own. In a shower enclosure or wet room it is essential, and we do it as standard.
Can you fit underfloor heating?
Yes, electric mats under tile are straightforward in a bathroom and make a noticeable difference. We run it off its own thermostat and circuit.
